In which THE Collective bangs on about new stuff

Phone arrived yesterday (at last).

Yes a 'real' keypad is better and yes the scrolling is hit and miss and yes it does show finger prints really badly (and no way am I using the supplied stylus in the shape of a tube of lipstick!) and yes wifi would actually have been useful but . . .

. . . it looks brilliant. All 'hi tec' and 'what the future is going to be like' sort of thing and, all things said, it works very well thank you very much.

Due to a mix up at o2 which meant I didn't get the Nokia N95 but did have a contract and couldn't use the expired Vodafone PAC I was, briefly, in charge of 3 contracts today, but lots of stiff emails and letters sorted that.

The iPod is cool as well.

(I got sent the silver one BTW - would've liked black but beggars can't be choosers. It was free after all. I also want to recommend Skull Candy Smokin' Bud in ear phones - totally brilliant.)

I'm a lapsed Apple fan and have always made it clear to anyone who would listen that I didn't want an iPod.

OK, so colour me converted.

It's only 4gb but it's swallowed loads of stuff from my iTunes collection and, and this bit is what has got me excited, the first 15 episodes of season 1 of Heroes.

Now I can choose to listen to decent music or catch up on a great telly program on the bus.

So all I need is to start catching the bus!

Oh and I'm poorly again.

Sat down and looked back at when I've been ill recently and tried to see if there was anything going on at the time. Best I can see is it's stress related. Worst case scenario - IBS.

I'm getting old :-(

Also, welcome back Chris Jericho. Let's hope they don't screw it up too badly.

Michelle - we will. And soon. Hang on in there my pickle.

See you all soon
