Today was a day of contrasts. I took an old 35mm film camera out with me and spent the day using that and the old Coronet medium format camera. I was reminded why I fell in love with photography in the first place. The DSLR stayed in its bag, unused and for today unloved.
I love film.
When I got home, full of myself and remembering how great film is, I had a stark lesson in why film can also be crap.
You've probably guessed by now that I'd spent the day shooting with an empty camera!
I hate film.
