Went out last night.
Yeah, I know, on a school night as well!
Anyway me and Michelle went to the Hop Pole and met up for a drink with one of her friends Steve and his wife.
I love the Hop Pole. I don't really do pubs much but the Hop Pole (hang around and I might write 'Hop Pole' and even link to it a few more times) is really, really cool.
The live music is fantastic. Eclectic? Yes. Loud? Yes. Hot and crowded? Most certainly yes. But fantastic? Hell, yes!
Anyway, Michelles' mate plays in a band and sometimes gigs on open mic nights with the guy we went to see last night, Dave Onions.
Dave Onions is a genius and I urge you to find out about him NOW and go seek him out. Buy his CDs by all means but please, track him down and see him live. Incredible.
